S’mores Bars

1 TB butter

10 oz pkg marshmallows

12 oz pkg Golden Grahams

1/3 c. milk chocolate chips


Rub butter around bottom and sides of 13×9 pan. Put remainder of butter into a large bowl with marshmallows. Cook in microwave 1 ½ to 2 minutes; combine well and add cereal.  Coat cereal and pour into prepared pan. Put chocolate chips in zip close bag; heat on 30 minute intervals until melted. Snip the corner off and pipe onto cereal mixture in the pan.

PB Chocolate Mallow Bars

Ooey gooey goodness!


PB Chocolate Mallow Bars
18.25 oz devils food cake mix
½ c. unsweetened applesauce
1 TB extra virgin olive oil
2/3 c. skim milk, divided
½ c. peanut butter
1/3 c. roasted peanuts
7 oz marshmallow cream
3 TB mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350*. Combine cake mix, applesauce, olive oil and 1/3 cup milk. Press cake mixture into 13×9 pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until center is almost set; cool 3 minutes. Mix peanut butter and remaining milk; spread onto crust. Top with small spoonfuls of marshmallow cream, then sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
Yield: 18 servings. Per serving= 224 Calories; 8g Fat (30.7% calories from fat); 4g Protein; 35g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; trace Cholesterol; 265mg Sodium.

Cake Batter Crispy Treats
10 oz mini marshmallows
4 TB yellow cake mix
7 c. crispy rice cereal
2 TB extra virgin olive oil, butter flavored
2 TB sprinkles

Melt marshmallows in large bowl in microwave, about 2 minutes. Add cake mix, crispy rice cereal, and olive oil. Combine well. Press into 13×9 pan sprayed with cooking spray. Top with sprinkles.
Yield: 12 servings. Per serving= 176 Calories; 3g Fat (14.1% calories from fat); 2g Protein; 36g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; trace Cholesterol; 156mg Sodium.

PB Bars
1/3 c. + 1 tsp reduced fat Bisquick
2 TB Splenda with fiber
1 TB packed brown sugar
2 TB light margarine
1 TB egg white
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 c. chunky peanut butter

Preheat oven to 350*. Spray small loaf pan with cooking spray. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients; stir well. Pour into prepared pan. Place in oven and bake 13-20 minutes.
Yield: 4 servings. Per serving=174 Calories; 10g Fat (50.7% calories from fat); 5g Protein; 18g Carbohydrate; 3g Dietary Fiber; 0mg Cholesterol; 265mg Sodium
