Cajun Cabbage Meal
12 ounces ground beef, 95% lean
16 ounces shredded cabbage
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 tablespoons onion
1/2 cup celery
14 1/2 ounces canned tomatoes
2/3 cup instant brown rice
1 Cups water
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
In a very large skillet, brown beef with peppers, onions, and celery. Drain excess juices if any. Add all remaining ingredients, cover and simmer on stovetop for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally so liquid gets absorbed by the rice.
